Fremont Main Library

2400 Stevenson Blvd.
Fremont, CA 94538
510-745-1400

The Fremont Main Library, part of the Alameda County Library system, is a key partner with the City of Fremont’s Human Services CAPS program and has played an instrumental role in numerous ways: Library staff have presented at the CAPS training, ambassadors were given library tours with a special focus on the library’s rich array of programs and services catered to older adults; assistance was given for the development of the immigrant how-to-guide, and in-kind space was made available to hold CAPS meetings and events.

We want to especially thank Richard Bray and his staff for their ongoing support of the CAPS program.

The Fremont Main Library offers many programs and services for older adults, including:

  • Internet Resource Classes for Older Adults
  • Homeward Bound Library Book Delivery Program
  • Adult Literacy Program
  • Community Information for Older Adults
  • Special Materials such as large-print books and BiFolkal kits
  • Library Services to people with disabilities
  • Books, videos, magazines and newspapers available in multiple languages
  • Information on Medicare and other healthcare resources
